WHAT IS POOR DAVID'S ALMANAC?
Poor David is a compact yearly almanac, in the spirit of the almanacs so popular before
the twentieth century. It contains facts, figures, essays, satire and (of course)
monthly calendars showing important dates in many lands. Given its size (under
500kb), it has a remarkable amount of information. The Table of Contents may be
seen in the upper right corner of this page.
DO YOU NEED A LICENSE?
To drive or fish? Yes. To make babies or use this almanac? No... For better
or worse, no one needs permission to reproduce or read Poor David.
FREE?... WHAT'S THE CATCH?
None that I can think of. There is no advertising, since I'm already irritated by
the prevalence of advertising in our lives. There is no malicious software, mainly
because I'm not smart, asinine or bored enough to create it. Basically, I made it
simply for my own enjoyment... and now yours.
HOW DO YOU DOWNLOAD POOR DAVID'S ALMANAC?
Please follow these instructions:
1. Click here to download the pdalmanac.zip
file.
2. Unzip the file and put all four unzipped files into your Palm Software upload cue.
3. Sync your Palm OS device with your computer.
4. Enjoy.
CAN YOU BEAM POOR DAVID TO YOUR FRIENDS, FAMILY, PETS?
Yes. All I ask is that you do not sell it, or change the program or data in any
way.
DO WE REQUIRE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
Nope. No one will ever know you downloaded Poor David's Almanac, so no need to worry.
WHAT ARE PEOPLE SAYING ABOUT THE 2008 EDITION?
Not a heck of a lot so far, so I'd appreciate your (polite) feedback to:

I hope you like it!
